KC Pet Project: Putting for Paws is a golf charity tournament that bridges the polished prestige of a classic tournament with the heart-centered mission of animal welfare. Because charity events constantly compete for donor interest, the goal was to create a sleek, cohesive visual identity that appeals to both casual supporters and high-value sponsors.

The process began with a visual audit of competing nonprofit events, combined with extensive research into how KC Pet Project functions across their various platforms to ensure the new branding felt authentic. A literature review further explored the mechanics of fundraising to understand why some events thrive while others struggle. To ensure the strategy was grounded in real-world needs, a research instrument was deployed allowing people to rank nonprofits, providing insights into their preferences. After synthesizing those responses into a data-backed design brief, I built a promotional ecosystem—including a landing page, email solicitations, and social media campaigns—and compiled the entire effort into a final case study to showcase the results.
