Project Scope: Brand Identity | Exhibition Design | Typography | Layout Design | Sub Brands

Project Duration: Febuary 24 –March 24 2024 (1 month)

Tools Used:  InDesign | Photoshop | Illustrator

Project Objective

This project explored castles, a subject often overlooked in contemporary design. The goal was to create a cohesive typographic poster series that honors their historical significance while presenting them in a modern, visually engaging way. The challenge was balancing hierarchy, readability, and dynamic layouts across the series.

Design Strategy

I focused on the five most famous castles, reimagining them with bold typography, color, and imagery. After the initial set, I expanded the series with ten additional posters to explore varied typographic layouts. I also created a secondary application—keychains—that extended the project’s visual language into a tangible, interactive format.

What I learned

I gained experience in spatial and large-scale exhibit design by creating an exhibition wall and catalog, which deepened my understanding of brand architecture and managing core and sub-brands over time. I learned how strategic merchandise, like a swag bag, can extend a brand and generate organic interest. This project also reinforced the value of rapid, multi-concept ideation for efficient production and strong creative differentiation.
